• GLYCYRRHETINIC ACID – A precious active ingredient derived from the root of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Chemically, it is a triterpenic acid obtained by hydrolysis of glycyrrhizic acid, the main constituent of licorice. The history of licorice spans centuries. It was already mentioned in traditional Chinese herbal medicine texts and in ancient Egyptian papyri. In traditional Chinese medicine, licorice root, called “Gan Cao,” is commonly used as an energy tonic. It is also often prescribed in Chinese medicine for its strengthening, energizing, and calming properties. When applied topically, it has soothing, anti-redness, and anti-inflammatory effects. It is therefore mainly used in the treatment of moderate inflammatory conditions such as atopic eczema, sunburn, seborrheic dermatitis, or insect bites. It also has good bacteriostatic action, particularly evident against gram-negative bacteria; it therefore enhances and completes the disinfectant action of the product.
• BISABOLOL – Active substance extracted from chamomile essential oil. It is the main component (together with chamazulene) responsible for the characteristics of chamomile itself, namely its soothing and anti-redness action. When used together with chamomile, it enhances its effect.
• ZEOLITE – Natural zeolite, known as clinoptilolite, is useful in cosmetic treatments for removing heavy metals and free radicals induced by blue light rays. It is particularly indicated for: removing toxic substances, protecting against radiation, regenerating cells, counteracting inflammation, strengthening the immune system, and providing an antioxidant effect. Zeolites are minerals of volcanic origin, with a regular and microporous crystalline structure characterized by a large number of empty spaces inside the crystals. The name “zeolite” comes from the Greek words zein (“to boil”) and lithos (“stone”), meaning “boiling stone.” In fact, when heated, it releases water without altering its structure and appears to boil.  Chemically, they are hydrated aluminosilicates with a three-dimensional tetrahedral crystalline structure formed by SiO₄ and AlO₄. There are more than 100 types of zeolites, including 52 natural types. Among these, Clinoptilolite, Mordenite, and Aussie are most commonly used for their ability to exchange cations and adsorption properties. About 150 synthetic types have been developed for specific applications. Non-activated clinoptilolite zeolite is available as ultra-fine powder, without additives, preservatives, or additional substances. It is extracted as is, crushed, and subjected to multiple sieving and milling processes until a dense and homogeneous powder is obtained. Clinoptilolite zeolite is non-toxic for the body and its stability is extremely long-lasting. The final safety assessment report on the use of zeolite, evaluated by the CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review), concludes that zeolite is safe in cosmetic products.
• DISODIUM RUTINYL DISULFATE – A water-soluble active ingredient of natural origin, derived from rutin, a bioflavonoid also known as vitamin P. This ingredient helps, at the skin level, to reduce capillary fragility and restore their normal permeability. By combining this activity with its antioxidant and soothing properties, it proves particularly suitable for formulations dedicated to treating skin imperfections, the sensation of heavy legs, and caring for mature skin or skin prone to widespread redness. Its action helps visibly improve the appearance of the skin, making it more compact, even, and radiant. It promotes skin vitality and provides a feeling of freshness and lightness, ideal for those who want to care for their body with a natural and effective approach.
• TREHALOSE – It is a non-reducing disaccharide composed of two glucose molecules. Trehalose occurs naturally in certain plants and organisms that survive harsh environmental conditions thanks to it. This sugar creates an extremely thin film capable of preserving molecules, forming a kind of coating around them to protect them from external agents; in this way, all the functional characteristics of the molecules remain unchanged. It therefore creates a film that acts as a shield against free radicals and counteracts cellular degenerative processes. On the skin, trehalose envelops water molecules, capturing moisture and keeping it constant. At the same time, it protects the skin from common pollutants and slows down aging processes.
• CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT – Studies on the chemical composition have mainly focused on the total triterpenic extract consisting ofasiaticoside and free triterpenic acids, such as asiatic acid, etc. It is also used in medicine in cases of circulatory insufficiency and swelling. It therefore helps in the treatment of swollen areas and problems related to microcirculatory deficiency. It also has firming and elasticizing properties.
• TITANIUM DIOXIDE, CI 77492, SILICA DIMETHYL SILYLATE, CI 77491, ETHYLCELLULOSE, LAURIC ACID, CI 77499, MANNITOL, ZEA MAYS STARCH, POLYGLYCERYL-10 STEARATE – This blend of skin-tone pigments is based on iron oxides and is encapsulated in a shell that hides the color within formulations. The capsule initially appears white, but when the product is applied to the skin, it breaks and releases the complexion color.
• VITIS VINIFERA VINE SAP – This active ingredient is made from vine sap from the hills of Emilia, rich in nutrients such as mineral salts, amino acids, sugars, polyphenols, and organic acids that stimulate the skin microbiota, meaning the set of “good” microorganisms present in our body that help it perform its functions. Recent scientific and technological advances have made it possible to develop a better understanding of the human microbiota in different body areas, such as the skin, through precise mapping of the microbiome (gene expression of the microbiota). The presence of a diverse and balanced microbiota is usually associated with healthier skin, while imbalance and destruction of skin microbiological populations can be linked to pathological conditions. In vivo tests have shown that this vine sap positively modulates the skin microbiota, increasing the vitality of all those “good” microorganisms present in our body that help improve the skin’s barrier function and hydrate, renew, and rejuvenate the skin, while reducing the vitality of “bad” microorganisms responsible for potential threats to skin health. Therefore, this ideal cellular nourishment for the plant is also a valuable ally for nourishing the cells of our skin and its microbiota. To effectively transfer vine sap to the skin without altering its properties or diluting it, these precious “tears” are encapsulated in plant-based liposomal systems. This active ingredient is therefore an essential nutrient capable of improving skin conditions by increasing hydration (+10.3% in vivo test), elasticity (+19.7% in vivo test), and nourishment (in vitro test) and repairing damage caused by aging.
• PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL – It is obtained by cold pressing sweet almonds. It offers excellent emollient and nourishing benefits for the skin. It is used in pharmaceutical cosmetics on all irritated, particularly delicate or reddened skin because it also has soothing and calming properties. It is one of the oils with the highest percentage of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, both endowed with specific eudermic properties. As mentioned, sweet almond oil has always been known and appreciated for its emollient, softening, nourishing, and soothing properties and for being well tolerated even by the most sensitive skin, such as that of children, which is why it has been used in cosmetics for centuries. Easily absorbed and resistant to atmospheric agents, almond oil is rich in vitamins E and B, proteins, carbohydrates, and mineral salts, making it excellent for combating skin aging and contributing to its renewal. Sweet almond oil has various applications, including culinary, but it is mainly used for treating dry and reddened skin.
• PANTHENOL – Also known as Provitamin B5, it is the alcohol corresponding to the vitamin, pantothenic acid. It is classified as a GRAS substance (Generally Recognized as Safe). It is a strategic factor in human tissues, being a component of coenzyme A (CoA), a fundamental factor for numerous biochemical reactions (metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates). In cosmetics, the use of panthenol is very common since it is metabolized on the skin into the corresponding acid. Its main properties are: moisturizing, stimulating cell proliferation, reparative, and soothing, both on the skin and mucous membranes.
