Ceramide Re-Barrier Serum unites a ceramide complex with a carbohydrate complex identical to that of the skin and liquorice root extract to strengthen, regenerate and protect the skin barrier.

The ceramide complex contains the essential ceramides 1 (EOS), 2 (NS), 3 (NP), 5 (AS) and 6 (AP), which are naturally present in the skin structure. The synergetic effects of the ceramides strengthen the skin barrier, reduce oxidative stress and protect the skin from irritants found in the environment. Furthermore, the ceramide complex strengthens the cell membrane and thus increases the skin’s moisture content. Saccharide Isomerate nourishes the skin with long-lasting, soothing moisture and stimulates key genes involved in strengthening the skin’s barrier function. The moisturising effect of the serum is further enhanced by long and short-chain hyaluronic acid. Last but not least, the skin-barrier-strengthening serum features an extract of liquorice root, exerting a soothing effect on the skin.

The Ceramide Re-Barrier Cream is a rich oil-in-water emulsion enriched with active ingredients that selectively protect the skin barrier, support the repair of the lipid barrier and ensure long-term skin regeneration.

The ceramide complex it contains consists of the essential ceramides 1 (EOS), 2 (NS), 3 (NP), 5 (AS) and 6 (AP), which strengthen the skin barrier, reduce oxidative stress and protect the skin from environmental influences. In addition to the ceramide complex, squalane supports the barrier function, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and makes the skin supple. Vitamin F Forte provides the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and linolenic acid, which promote enzyme processes in the skin and repair the lipid barrier, thereby reducing dry, cracked and flaky skin. Vitamin E acetate acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from free radicals and improving elasticity and softness. The carbohydrate complex Saccharide Isomerate, identical to that of the skin provides long-lasting moisturisation and stimulates key genes that strengthen the skin’s barrier function. The moisturising effect is further accentuated by long and short-chain hyaluronic acid. Additionally, an extract from liquorice root has a calming effect on the skin.

Niacinamide supports to strengthen the skin barrier by promoting the formation of ceramides. The anti-inflammatory properties of niacinamide help to reduce redness and inflammation. Vitamin E acetate also acts as an antioxidant to protect the cell membrane from free radicals.
